Imagine musing over beads, stones, metals and fabrics with your sister, dreaming up new designs for your ever-expanding lifestyle collection. That pretty much sums up how Dannijo founders, Danielle and Jodie Snyder, spend their working hours. Their list of designer collaborations is extremely impressive (Vena Cava and Luca Luca are only the beginning), but their jewelry really speaks for itself. A mix of Danielle’s bohemian inclinations and Jodie’s feminine flair, Dannijo gets it right every single season, and has been a favorite of mine ever since I met the girls a few years ago.
But beyond their tireless efforts to turn out amazing accessories, these stylish siblings are seriously chic best friends. And when they manage to take time away from work, the duo sticks together, jaunting off on family trips to Europe for the perfect combination of beach-meets-city vacationing.
With two-times the wardrobe options, you’d think they’d pack pretty light — but Jodie admits it’s actually the opposite. “I probably overpack,” she says. “But I’d rather be prepared for anything than not have enough.” And who can blame her, when she stuffs her suitcase full of such fun jewels? Here’s a glimpse at how Danni and Jodie pack for their European adventures:
- Dannijo Mara necklaces $170 per strand
- Dannijo Stingray cuffs $238-338

- Dove Beauty Bars $12 for 8 bars
- VPL Bellmar Tank $122
- Gryphon Stitch Miniskirt $242
