This is the first 4th of July I’ve spent without witnessing a fireworks display in as long as I can remember.  But we managed to celebrate the holiday in a way that still felt both special and summery, leaving our house in Amangasett to join friends for drinks and dinner on the beach in Montauk.   I mixed patterns, keeping the top half of my outfit clean and classic, while the bottom half was a bit of a nod to my wild side.  And luckily I brought my white blazer along to add warmth when walked right down to the ocean, in order to admire the gorgeous sunset.  I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday, whether you saw the fireworks or not!
