Nashville is composed of a number of different areas, and the way I see it, we probably should have rented a car to truly explore the way we wanted to. But with only cabs at our disposal, we walked a ton — and that meant bundling up, since the weather was so unseasonably cold.  Before piling on my winter coat and gloves, I layered this vest over a few different outfits, and also combined sweaters and blouses to create a significant barrier between me and the wind.   And just as I’d hoped, these boots worked day and night — and didn’t bother me once the entire trip.
